Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) Surgery
What is Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery?
HPB surgery is a type of abdominal surgery that focuses on the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and other organs of the hepatopancreatobiliary system. It is used to diagnose and treat diseases of these organs, including cancers and benign conditions. These are among the most challenging and complex surgical procedures performed in General Surgery and require a high degree of expertise and skill.
Conditions treated at the HPB Surgery
We assess patients in our Surgery Clinic with benign and malignant conditions of the liver, pancreas, bile duct and gallbladder and provide surgical management where appropriate.
